Ohio State Knocks Off Penn State, Michigan Responds in Key Big Ten Weekend
The college football focus centered around the Big Ten on Saturday where #3 Ohio State and #7 Penn State met with a potential CFB Playoff ticket on the line. The Buckeyes stayed perfect with a big night from star WR Marvin Harrison Jr. (11 catches, 162 yards, 1 TD). Up in East Lansing, Michigan State played host to #2 Michigan after the Wolverines’ week of scrutiny regarding a new NCAA investigation for sign-stealing. Michigan responded by dumping their in-state rival 49-0. Elsewhere, Alabama rallied to upend Tennessee, and USC suffered their second loss at the hands of Utah (34-32), effectively ending their playoff hopes and QB Caleb Williams’ repeat Heisman chances. Six unbeaten teams make up the top-six while other undefeated teams include #19 Air Force (7-0) and #25 James Madison (7-0).
