Men: Alabama Reaches No. 1 for 1st Time in 20 Years — Women: South Carolina Buries LSU to Stay Unbeaten

For the first time in almost a month, there’s a new No. 1 atop the men’s college basketball rankings. Alabama and Purdue swapped spots at No. 1 and No. 3 while Houston stayed at No. 2 in this week’s AP Poll. It’s Bama’s first time back on top in 20 years. There’s still a lot of parity as the top 10 continues to shift. In the women’s game, No. 1 South Carolina put their stamp on the poll with a 24-point blowout against No. 3 LSU (88-64) to remain the only undefeated team. Could they run the table and finish the perfect season? Here’s the latest look at the top teams in college hoops.
