Lightning Strike Down Rangers in Game 4 (4-1) to Even East Finals at 2-2
We’re all even in the East! After falling down 2-0 in the Eastern Conference Finals, the Tampa Bay Lightning are all-square with the Rangers after a 4-1 win in Game 4. Andrei Vasilevskiy made 34 saves while the Bolts got goals from Ondrej Palat, Pat Maroon, Nikita Kucherov and Steven Stamkos. The two-time defending champs looked like their three-peat hopes might dwindle after Game 2, but their streak of 10 straight series wins is still breathing with the East Finals now deadlocked. Game 5 heads back to New York on Thursday night.
