Pacers Give Up 2 Players, 3 Picks for Pascal Siakam (Raptors) in 3-Team Deal
NBA Trade Deadline season is officially upon us (Feb. 8), and the speedy Pacers just made a splash. Indiana had been working hard to secure a athletic, defensive-minded 4-man, and they got their guy in Raptors’ star Pascal Siakam. Siakam, 29, is averaging 22.2 points, 6.3 rebounds and 4.9 assists this season. He’s a two-time All-Star, too. The Pacers had to give up Bruce Brown, Jordan Nwora and a trio of 1st-round picks in a deal that also included the Pelicans.
Pacers Get:Â Pascal Siakam, 2nd-Round Pick
Raptors Get:Â Bruce Brown, Jordan Nwora, Kira Lewis, 3 1st-Round Picks
*Pelicans Offload Kira Lewis’ Contract & 2nd-Round Pick
Toronto has been the most active team before the trade deadline. They’ve already sent O.G. Anunoby to the Knicks for Canadian R.J. Barrett, and Barrett has seen his season reinvigorated. The rise of Raptors’ forward Scottie Barnes to superstar levels also made Siakam an expendable asset as Toronto (15-25) continues to struggle. So, who’s next on the trade block?
Top Trade Targets (Rumors)
Zach LaVine (Bulls)
Dejounte Murray (Hawks)
Kyle Kuzma (Wizards)
Kyle Lowry (Heat)
