Good Morning!

What a crazy night in the NBA. Between seven trades (three big ones), 11 games, a 50-piece and a game-winner, I’m spent. Jimmy Butler is a Warrior. The Lakers made another move. MVP favorite Shai Gilgeous Alexander scored 50 points for the third time in seven games. Someone help us… It’s supposed to be Super Bowl week. The NBA trade window finally closes this afternoon (3pm ET).

Don’t miss Friday’s Special Edition — The Super Bowl Underdogs.

Letter Rip!

Warriors Land Jimmy Butler (And More Big Moves) Before Today’s NBA Trade Deadline (3:00 pm ET)

In the aftermath of those two blockbuster trades this past weekend, the NBA’s trade deadline appeared to cool off for about 48-72 hours. It heated back up Wednesday night with more major moves. The Warriors made a splash for disgruntled Heat star Jimmy Butler. That deal included Andrew Wiggins and three other teams. Butler agreed to a two-year, $111 million extension immediately after. Jimmy Buckets and Draymond Green on the same team (with Steph Curry firing 3s)? Kind of scary.

The fun didn’t stop there. The Bucks, Wizards, Raptors, Pelicans, Lakers and Hornets were all involved in deals. We’re not done yet.

Trade Deadline: Today (3:00 pm ET)

Will we see any more blockbusters?

Phoenix Rising: No Gallery in Golf Compares to ‘The Coliseum’ at TPC Scottsdale

Spring golf fans, warm up the vocal cords. The Phoenix Open is here. While majestic sights are laced throughout Augusta National and Pebble Beach, and iconic scenery can be found at the Church Pews of Oakmont and the hills of St. Andrews, one gallery in golf rules them all — the Par-3 16th at TPC Scottsdale. The Waste Management Phoenix Open has become something of a wild spectacle to renew the passion of American golf fans each February. What this simple desert course lacks in greenery and waterfront views, it more than makes up for in fan experience.

History: The 16th @ TPC Scottsdale

What began with a rowdy group of fans following Tiger Woods in 1997 has since been embraced (and transformed) over the past quarter-century. Woods aced that shot in ’97, and a roar from the gallery started a movement. A total of 294 skyboxes in coliseum-style stadium seating surround this 163-yard gem. An estimated 20,000-plus fans gather for a party unlike any in golf.

A long winter of pent-up golf adrenaline is about to let loose.
